A Storyteller with a Standard of Excellence.

I have a deep love of storytelling, and try to spin a tale with every brush stroke. Every tiny detail has a purpose. Whether I’m developing a character, environment, or object; drawing a caricature or portrait; or fleshing out a comic, storytelling is the first priority in all my illustrations.

It’s about character…

Whether I’m doing a caricature, a character, or a portrait, it’s never enough to simply copy what I see in front of me. I look for character details for the individual being drawn. I illustrate them to the best of my ability.

Sometimes… it means drawing them as a Jedi..

I spend the bulk of my time working digitally with the Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly with photoshop. I remain stylistically versatile, selecting style based on the storytelling of the character, or to match an aesthetic provided to me from a client. I can work flat and graphically, or bring it to a high level of polish, all depending on the needs of the project.

Telling an Important Story…

Everyone is battling demons. It has been an important part of my journey to illustrate them. By giving them a face and sharing them, I have stolen power from them, and helped others gain ground over their demons.

“Spyte” (depicted here) is the patron demon of depression. Heavy and ruthless, he will show you all of your failings.

End the Stigma.

Helping others through imagery.

Art, animation and illustration have an important purpose. Often the narrative you share can help and influence others. This was the case with both of these demons.

“Sattyre” is Spyte’s twin sister, and she is the patron demon of anxiety. Spiny, sharp, and edgy, she spins false truths about your future.

Even designs of vehicles and objects need to drive the story forward. Their shapes and details communicate their purpose, and their own individual character.
